Sprint very quietly has informed customers that they will cease offering any email services of any kind at the end of this year.  Current Sprint customers who have a Sprint email address (@sprintpcs.com) should note that the carrier will turn those addresses off completely on December 31 of this year.  There will be no transitioning period, your email address will suddenly go dark.  This is significant for Sprint customers so be aware this will happen and check out Sprint's advice for transitioning to another provider.
